Guar Gum comes from the Guar Bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba), a legume similar to a green bean.

When ground into a powder and mixed with water (or Aloe), it acts as a natural Thickener and Emulsifier.

The Benefit: It gives our Glow Getter Serum that rich, substantial feel. It prevents the product from being runny like water, allowing you to control the dosage perfectly.

The Silicone Alternative (Slip without the Clog)

The biggest benefit of Guar Gum is "Slip." It reduces the friction when you massage the product into your face. This prevents you from pulling or dragging your delicate skin (which causes wrinkles).

Unlike Silicones, which sit on top of the skin, Guar Gum is a water-soluble fiber. It allows your skin to breathe while delivering the active ingredients (like Hyaluronic Acid) exactly where they need to go.
